Lovers of young adult science fiction with a touch of fantasy will be hooked on The Cydarions, flipping the pages from cover to cover. Weaving an intriguing plot, Cox whisked me away from reality and into a world of epic imagination. There is suspense, action, adventure, thrills, humor, spell-binding plot twists, and so much more. The vivid depictions had me feeling like I was right in the middle of all the action, closely watching the scenes unfold. The author brings out the cast’s traits and emotions, making it easy to connect and empathize with them. Albeit different in every way and with interesting pasts, the Cydarions are a diverse and exciting group united by one goal; protecting the world from evil. I particularly loved the duo of Nyk Cepler and Pace Conor. Their lively conversations, endless banter, and their knack for mischief always made for hilarious scenes.

The Cydarions by Adrian Cox is a cool book about a race of warriors from a different planet who defend us from the evils that plague the world. The story follows a band of these warriors as they leave their home world to stop evil and learn more about who they are. Adrian Cox gives his readers a glimpse into the lives of a particular band of the Cydarions and how they came together. He details incidents that put the readers in the mindset of a beloved George Lucas franchise, and similarly Nyk reminded me of Han Solo. The idea of beings battling the forces of evil is appealing, and I liked the use of familiar labels for evil, demons, and the devil employed as the names of Lucifer's progeny. The artwork is beautiful, but what readers don't get from the drawings, they will understand from Cox's vivid and in-depth descriptions. Readers will feel like they know each member of the Cydarions well and will share in their successes and sadness. The Cydarions is a great selection for readers who enjoy detailed fantasy worlds and spiritual battles.

In The Cydarions the author Adrian Cox describes the eternal battle between good and evil, where the Cydarions are the warriors that God created to oppose the Devil's demons, which seek to spread evil and desolate the worlds of the universe. These demons are of a new generation, more intelligent, which test the skills and relationships of the Cydarios.
The deeper we get into the story, it's impossible not to be excited by this book's potential to push the boundaries of what we expect from a sci-fi action story.
The introduction of the characters is novel where at the beginning of each chapter, the portrayed character appears as a presentation. The dynamics presented by these characters, the themes of sacrifice and faith, generate a well-woven plot with unexpected twists, which makes this narrative engaging and an addictive reading.
The question that remains is: are we ready to embark on this adventure beyond the confines of our imagination?
